The education industry is one of the markets where New Look Media (the company behind School Ladder) has spent the most time developing websites and other internet tools. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about what School Districts need in terms of online services. One of the biggest inefficiencies I’ve seen is how schools handle the teacher hiring process.
Many School Districts have candidates come into a central location (usually the School District Administration office) and fill out paper employment applications. Someone in the Administration office then has to fax out a candidate’s information to the Principals or the Principals have to physically come into the central location to sift through candidates, resumes and other files.
There has to be a better way!
After working with numerous School Districts and Technology Centers on similar systems to address this problem, we decided to build School Ladder. School Ladder takes all of the things we’ve learned over the years and puts it into a system that will revolutionize the way you hire teachers and other employees in your School District.
